For our birthday, we took a bus to a village where the native people of northern Scandinavia live and herd reindeer.

Belém is charming district east of Lisbon that's well worth the visit. A ten-minute train ride away, it's an easy and affordable day trip.

I drove 2,000 miles in 6 days, saw 6 National Parks, crossed 3 of the country’s major climatic zones, and traversed 4 different landscapes.

Carlsbad Caverns National Park sits 1,000 feet above Whites City. The first thing you notice entering the cavern is the temperature drop.
