Is It Worth It to Hike Mt. Vesuvius?
The hike to the summit of Mt. Vesuvius is just over a mile, and the best part is undoubtedly the views. The hike starts on the back side of the volcano, curves up around Mt. Vesuvius, and ends directly on the other side. By the time you finish, you have amazing views of the Mediterranean Sea, the Bay of Naples, and the island of Capri in the distance.
