If you're visiting Naples, Italy, you've got to check out the Monumental Complex of Santa Chiara. The beautiful cloister has vibrant pottery tiles on the columns and benches, and it's well worth the $8 admission fee.

Pompeii is a UNESCO World Heritage Site outside of Naples, Italy. At nearly 170 acres, there are a ton of important sites to see on a walking tour around Pompeii.

The hike to the summit of Mt. Vesuvius is just over a mile, and the best part is undoubtedly the views. The hike starts on the back side of the volcano, curves up around Mt. Vesuvius, and ends directly on the other side. By the time you finish, you have amazing views of the Mediterranean Sea, the Bay of Naples, and the island of Capri in the distance.

The 'Old City,' as it is called, is the historic center of Chiang Mai. Despite being only 1.5 square kilometers in area, this moat-enclosed square neighborhood is jam-packed with more than 30 temples! The whole area is extremely walkable, and there are tons of fun things to see as you walk from temple to temple.
